Arlington Heights police received a report about 7:40 a.m. Monday of a reckless driver in a blue Nissan last seen northbound on Dryden Road from Rand Road. The offender was described as a male/black wearing a black mask, white shirt and khakis. A box cutter was brandished by the offender near Rand Road and Dundee Road in Palatine. Arlington Heights police assigned units to search the area.
