DUI Arrest: Weapons and Ammunition Discovered on Traffic Stop Nichols and Highland

An Arlington Heights police officer on a traffic stop at about 10:10 p.m. Thursday discovered ammunition and a gun in the trunk of a vehicle at Nichols Road and Highland Avenue. A male driver was arrested for DUI and transported in custody to Arlington Heights police headquarters. The driver’s vehicle was towed to a police holding area. Unknown if other charges were pressed related to the weapons.
