Billy Cleveland, 18, of the 700 block of Golf Road, pleaded guilty in Rolling Meadows branch court Wednesday to robbery. Judge John Scotillo sentenced Billy Cleveland to summer at the Cook County sheriff’s boot camp for armed robbery of a pizza deliveryman. Cleveland was also sentenced $650.

Cleveland displayed a hunting knife to steal a cheese and a pepperoni pizza from a Papa John’s delivery driver in the 900 block of East Shady Way in March and then fled with another male on foot.

Police caught Cleveland nearby and recovered the knife and pizzas (see The Cardinal Armed Robbery with Hunting Knife of Pizza Delivery Man: Two Male/Black Suspects, 1 Arrested)

The boot camp program includes an 18-week, military-style training course followed by eight months of supervision after release.
