Robert Garcia Charged with Hit-and-Run Death of Ludjana Dido

Robert Garcia, 18, of the 2800 block of North Mozart Avenue in the Logan Square neighborhood has been charged with murder this afternoon in the hit-and-run death of Ludjana Dido, 20, of the Northwest Side.

A ‘person of interest’ had been questioned since Saturday. Chicago police also discovered a white Buick sedan matching the description of the car involved in the hit-and-run, which took place about 1:10 a.m. Saturday in the 2700 block of West Roscoe Street. Ludjana Dido was with a group of friends near the North Branch of the Chicago River near the Roscoe Street address when the group got into a dispute with another group of people. Dido was getting into a car with her friends when she was struck by a white vehicle.
