Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:40 a.m. Thursday of a suspicious person at the front door in the 0-99 block of Appletree Lane. A resident reported that a male/white rang the doorbell at about 5:40 a.m. and was asking for people that did not live at that address. Arlington Heights police caught up with the subject within 10 minutes at a cul-de-sac near Ridge and Kingsbury. Police investigated the male/white and took him home.
