Police Activity, Road Block of Arlington Heights Rd at North School Park Result of Prank

Arlington Heights police responded to a report of an attack at North School about 10:00 p.m. Tuesday. Police and firefighter/paramedics responded to a report of an injured man on the ground in the park, as a result of an attack. Police blocked southbound Arlington Heights Road for a short time period. No injured man was found. A man with the phone that dialed 9-1-1 was found, but that man said he let another man use his phone for a few minutes. Police were searching near the Marathon station at Vail and Northwest Highway for a vagrant that might have made the call. Police believed the call was a prank call.
