Buffalo Grove police responded about 5:40 p.m. Tuesday to a domestic disturbance involving a man armed with a knife in the 500 block of Coventry Lane. A man was locked out of his residence during a domestic disturbance and was threatening harm with a knife in his possession. The man was tasered, disarmed and in custody within minutes of the arrival of Buffalo Grove police officers. One of the police officers was struck by the subject before the subject was tasered.
The man was treated by paramedics. Unknown on transportation or any arrest.
