Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:00 a.m. Sunday of an intoxicated person with a knife at St. Edna’s Catholic Church, 2525 North Arlington Heights Road. An off-duty police officer took the knife away from the male subject and stood by until Arlington Heights police arrived. No word on any arrest.
