Robbery? Drug Bust? Two Arlington Heights Police Scenes Wednesday Afternoon: Evergreen Near Starbucks and Northwest Highway and Pine Avenue

The Arlington Heights Police were investigating two scenes Wednesday afternoon. An accident in front of Starbucks on Evergreen Avenue between Campbell and Sigwalt and an arrest scene just north of the intersection of Pine and Northwest Highway. It is unknown yet if these two scenes are related. More than one arrest was made at the Pine Avenue scene (at least one male and one female were arrested). Plain clothes law enforcement officers were also working at the Pine Avenue scene.

A white Jeep Cherokee Sport was towed to the the Arlington Heights Police Station for inspection and evidence work about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

At the Evergreen location, a silver sedan was back-end over the sidewalk and had knocked over a light pole. Police activity was higher than expected for a simple light pole accident with no serious injuries reported.

So far it’s looking like a robbery or drug bust … or both. Nothing confirmed yet. Developing …
