Libyan Plane Crash in Tripoli, Many Dutch Among Over 100 Killed, One Dutch Boy Survives

VIDEO: A Libyan plane crashed in Tripoli Wednesday morning, killing more than 100 people. The prime minister of the Netherlands said one eight year-old Dutch boy survived but dozens of other Dutch citizens died.

A Libyan air carrier Afriqiyah Airways Airbus-A330 was landing at Tripoli airport during a flight from South Africa, when it crashed during the landing. The crash killed 93 passengers and 11 crew members.


Hospital Video: The survival of a 10-year-old Dutch child after a plane crash in Libya is being hailed as a miracle. The child is the only known survivor from the plane, which was carrying 104 people when it went down today on approach to Tripoli’s airport.
