Suspicious Person on North Douglas Avenue

Arlington Heights police responded to a report about 1:40 p.m. Monday of a suspicious person in the 1600 block of North Douglas Avenue. The subject was described as a male/black in his 20’s, wearing a brown leather jacket and jeans, and bouncing a yellow tennis ball while walking southbound on Douglas Avenue on the east side of the street. The subject came to the door of a house, and the resident of the house couldn’t determine if he was actually selling something or just trying to check out the houses.

Arlington Heights police caught up with him at Douglas and Lynnwood. No word on any arrest.
