Buffalo Grove Police DUI Arrest at Dundee and Route 83

Buffalo Grove police arrested a DUI driver about 6:15 a.m. Sunday. The Buffalo Grove police officer first observed the driver near Lake Cook Road and McHenry Road at about 6:10 a.m. The officer followed a Ford Explorer that appeared to be driven by a DUI driver, because the driver did not stop. The police did not chase the vehicle, but called ahead to Wheeling police and the vehicle finally stopped at Dundee Road and Route 83, almost hitting several cars during the route.

Buffalo Grove police arrest a DUI driver from the Ford Explorer at about 6:15 a.m. Wheeling police assisted the Buffalo Grove officer, who also was backed up by at least two other Buffalo Grove officers. The driver was arrested an transported in custody to Buffalo Grove police department headquarters. The Ford Explorer was towed to a police holding area.
