Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:30 p.m. to a semi-trailer truck vs. car accident at Busse Road and Kenneth Drive. The crash was initially reported to be a person trapped in a Grand Prix with the truck partially on top of the car. The truck was partially on top of the car, but no person was trapped.
All three northbound lanes were blocked temporarily. Police may be putting two-way traffic in the southbound lanes temporarily. The crash intersection is just north of the I-90 overpass on Busse Road.
