Arlington Heights police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:00 a.m. to a report of a man hit by a car in the 2200 block of Amhurst Court, just east of Hersey High School. The victim was reported to be a male in his twenties with a serious leg injury. No known arrests or charges for the car vs. pedestrian accident near Thomas Avenue and Waterman.
