Arlington Heights police received a report about 6:30 p.m. Friday of an attempted break-in or attempted burglary in the 500 block of Windgate Court. An unknown offender kicked in the front door of a residence in the 500 block of Windgate Court, just behind Valli Produce on Golf Road. Police were on the scene within minutes, but no known arrests.
