Arlington Heights police received a report about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday that two subjects tried to enter a resident’s home in the 500 block of East Lynwood on Tuesday. Case sounds similar to recent cases of ruse/scam attempts to enter homes in the last two weeks — unconfirmed.
