August 2007 Floods in Minnesota

Flood August 19th 2007. Zumbro River Floods after 10.65 inches of rain fell in 24 hours.

Overnight floods killed six people in southeastern Minnesota (Winona, Wabasha, Fillmore, Houston, Steele and Olmsted counties declared in a state of emergency). Emergency crews rescued people from homes and vehicles.

Two people died were in a vehicle near Stockton, Minnesota [MAP/SAT].

Two people also died in vehicles on County Road 17 near Witoka [MAP/SAT].

Flooding over the weekend left 13 Dead in Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas.
