Southbound vehicle ended up in the median ditch of Route 53 just south of Route 68. Palatine Fire Department responded and transported at least two patients to Northwest Community Hospital Monday night about 11:30 p.m.
The accident was originally reported as an accident with people trapped in the car. Everyone exited the car before firefighters arrived.
