The actual storm arrived on time as predicted, but was mostly dissipated by the time it arrived at 3:30 p.m. Tornado warning activated about 2:45 p.m. The warning expired at 3:30 p.m. — right about the same time as the estimated arrival of the storm for Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Numerous funnel clouds were sighted and radar indicated possible tornadic activity. Ironically the storm had little lightning and thunder and only a short burst of rain by the time it reached Arlington Heights.

Notice the cloud line moving in a southwesterly direction away from Lake Michigan while the storm is moving northeasterly.
