Arlington Heights police soon learned that the chase was a loss prevention employee from Marshall’s chasing an offender, who had been detained for retail theft. 1. I don’t want something like that to happen in my business. I do not want to risk the life of the loss prevention employee. I have heard of several other news that the shoplifter maced the loss prevention officer and many other violent stories. I am for products that deter such illegal activities like visible CCTV cameras, larnyards, safekeepers and other loss prevention devices. Most of my small merchandise are protected in glass, you can only see it with assistance from staff.
