Aaron Gutierrez, 17, Charged with Arson for Igniting Fire Starter Device at Walmart

Aaron Gutierrez, a 17-year-old from Buffalo Grove was charged with aggravated arson after Wheeling police say he set a fire Wednesday at about 9:30 p.m. in the sporting goods department of Walmart, 1400 block of Lake Cook Road, Wheeling.

On Saturday, Cook County Circuit Court Judge Jill Cerone Marisie set bond at $5,000 for Aaron Gutierrez, of the 400 block of Greg Lane in Buffalo Grove.

If convicted of aggravated arson, Aaron Gutierrez could face six to 30 years in prison. Next court date January 14, 2010 at Third Municipal District — Circuit Court of Cook County, Rolling Meadows.
