Schaumburg Police Investigating Stolen Snow Plow from Higgins and 53 Area

Schaumburg police officers were investigating the theft of a large-size snow plow truck Saturday afternoon about 2:45 p.m. A witness reported a theft of a large 2002 Ford F-250 truck with a snow plow from the area of Route 53 and Higgins Road. The snow plow truck is yellow or tan and brown with the business name of Countryside displayed on the side of the truck.

The vehicle is labeled Truck #7. There was an 8-foot Western snow plow, red in color, installed on the vehicle at the time of the theft.

Another government official may have spotted the vehicle near the Toll Plaza at Route 53 and Army Trail Road. Police are looking for the truck.
