#ad▼

Chicago Fire Department received a report about 11:40 am. Saturday of a man in trouble in the waters of Lake Michigan. Chicago police and firefighters arrived on the scene at the 5700 block of the South shoreline of Lake Michigan to find a surfboard and the man. The man was surfing on Lake Michigan, and he was not in distress. The surfer claims it’s legal to surf year round on Lake Michigan. CPD and the surfer are sorting out the details as he casually carries the surfboard, and the CFD water rescue companies are returning to quarters.
