Three inches of new snow fell overnight in Arlington Heights, resulting in snow cover of 3.0 inches at 5:30 a.m. Saturday December 19, 2009. Accumulation began about 5:00 p.m. Friday as heavy, wet snow and later fell as a lighter snow.
