Man Tries to Sneak in Girlfriend’s Window, Crashes His Car While Fleeing

Arlington Heights police received a report that a male was trying to enter his girlfriend’s window in the 1700 block of North Beverly about 2:30 a.m. Saturday. Police were updated that the man was fleeing the house in a silver Infinity. While police were responding to the Beverly address, they discovered the silver Infiniti G37X crashed into an embankment and retaining wall on Rand Road, just south of Beverly Avenue. The male driver was matched to the suspect that was fleeing the Beverly Avenue address and was also discovered to be a DUI driver. The male was not injured.

The DUI suspect was transported to Arlington Heights Police Department headquarters. The Infiniti G37X was towed from a location near the Back to Bed mattress store to a police holding area.
