Conflicting information from Florida regarding Tiger Woods. The Florida Highway Patrol has reported after about a 12-hour delay that Tiger Woods has been involved in a one-car accident which resulted in Woods being seriously injured. Reports are out that he was in his Cadillac Escalade and struck a fire hydrant and a tree after backing out of his driveway near Deacon Court and Deacon Circle in Windmere, Florida before 2:30 a.m. Friday. There is also a report that his air bags did not deploy.

Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee in serious condition, but the hospital is denying that Tiger Woods is at the hospital. Orange County Fire Rescue received a report of an accident at 2:27 a.m.

Windermere, Florida has been the mailing address of professional golfer Tiger Woods since 1997. Many golf celebrities including Woods actually live in the Isleworth gated community — a subdivision which is located south of the town limits of Windermere, just southwest of Orlando, Florida.

Charges are pending. Early reports are that alcohol was not a factor in the crash — an unusual incident, considering he is reported to be seriously injured in a crash involving a large SUV without air bag deployment. Developing …
