Arlington Heights police received a report about 2:15 a.m. of a one-car crash at Rand Road and Wilke Road. A green Mercury was found near the underpass with severe damage blocking two lanes of Rand Road — unknown which direction. Cook County Sheriff’s deputies managed the accident with Arlington Heights on the assist.
