Arlington Heights police received a report about 1:30 a.m. that an unknown person was standing in the caller’s backyard wearing a black hoodie with the hood up and talking on a cell phone. The same person had returned after being in the same backyard in the 1000 block of South Chestnut about twenty minutes prior.
About 1:50 a.m. Arlington Heights police officers called for Arlington Heights Fire Department firefighter/paramedics to come to the scene to check on a person that had been tasered.
Circumstances that led to the taser deployment are unknown.
