Arlington Heights Police Officer Finds Crashed Car, No Driver

An Arlington Heights officer on patrol near Golf Road about 2:30 a.m. found a red car that left the road, just east of Lover’s Lane and crashed through a yard in Mount Prospect. The car left Golf Road and crashed in the backyard of a house on South Noah Terrace. During the crash near Golf Road and Goebbert Road intersection, the car took out utility lines, including telephone lines.

No driver was found anywhere near the car. The accident actually turned out to be in Mount Prospect jurisdiction. Mount Prospect police are investigating.
