Arlington Heights police received a report of a violation of village ordinance for a demolition crew that was working at the former Lattof Chevrolet site, 800 east Northwest Highway, at about 6:15 p.m. At least one residential neighbor in the area called police about the excessive noise.
Construction or demolition is not permitted before 7:00 a.m.
