Rolling Meadows police a report received about 10 p.m. of a silver Grand Am being driven by an eight year-old in the parking lot of Meijer at Golf Road and Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows. The car was occupied by one other person — an adult. The first Rolling Meadows police officer on the scene did not see any vehicle matching the description of the silver Grand Am. Several witness reported the incident prior to arrival of the Rolling Meadows police.
