Arlington Height Fire Department provided mutual aid for Palatine Fire Department fighting a fire at 800 East Northwest Highway in Palatine Monday morning about 8:30 am. The fire was out within 45 minutes, but smoke filled floors and the stairwells. One person was transported to the hospital. Barrington, Long Grove and Schaumburg FD’s also assisted. — mb
