Buffalo Grove police got a report that a gray Toyota RAV stuck a child on a bicycle near Escape Entertainment on McHenry Road (near Pauline Avenue) about 1:45 p.m. After striking the child, the vehicle headed east on Lake Cook Road. A witness reported the child was limping along the side of McHenry Road. Buffalo Grove Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene.
A 9-1-1 caller followed the offending driver and Buffalo Grove police were able to catch up with the Toyota RAV within minutes at Lake Cook Road and Weiland Road. The report is under investigation.
