Traffic Stop Turns to Foot Pursuit

Arlington Heights Police stopped a car on Dryden Avenue, just north of Olive Street [MAP/SAT], when a passenger in the car jumped out of the passenger door and ran west on Olive Street. The suspect is known by the police; the driver is in his late teens or early 20’s. It is unknown if they caught up with him late Wednesday night. The passenger may have had drugs in his possession. Arlington Heights police were searching the neighborhoods on both sides of Oakton near Dryden and Oakton [MAP/SAT] and Beverly and Oakton [MAP/SAT].
