Illinois State Police out of District 10 in downstate Pesotum reports multiple crashes where I-57, I-72, and I-74 are all affected by multiple crashes — many were rollover crashes, and at least one was a crash with entrapment. On I-57 there was a rollover crash with two people trapped Saturday, March 24, 2018.
Illinois State Police report more crashes than they have troopers available for immediate response during a late Winter storm with snow, slush and ice.
