Waukegan police responded about 1:30 PM Wednesday January 10, 2018 to an armed robbery at 8th Street and Adams Street Waukegan, IL. Police received a report that a man robbed a man of a gun and fired a shot while robbing the gun, which was described as a semi-automatic handgun.
Taken was a black loaded 9mm Taurus handgun.
The suspect was described as a male/black in his 20s, tall with a thin build, wearing a black hat, ear muffs with fur, a black hoodie, and blue jeans.
The suspect was last seen heading westbound on 8th Street.
The crime is reported to have occurred at 1:30 p.m.
