Marilou Danley has been identified by Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo as a “person of interest” in the mass shooting that began about 10:06 p.m. PDT Sunday October 1, 2017 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival near the intersection of Mandalay Bay Road and Las Vegas Boulevard that killed more than 20 people and injured more than 100 people.
UPDATE: After interviewing Marilou Danley, they do not believe she was involved.
A female Asian 4’11” weighing 111 LBS, Marilou Danly is described by police as a roommate of the dead suspected shooter, whose identity was not released by police during an early morning press conference.
Police are also looking for two vehicles, possibly connected with the mass shooting — a Hyundai Tucson with Nevada license plate number 114 B40 and a Chrysler Pacifica Touring with plate number 19D 401. The vehicles are initially believed to be registered to the shooter.
Danley is self-described as a mother and grandmother on Facebook. The shooter was engaged by police in or near a hotel room on the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort.
