Northbrook police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 1:44 AM Saturday October 28, 2017 to a report of a extrication crash westbound east of Waukegan Road, 42.145012, -87.820814 (I-94 Spur and Waukegan Rd Northbrook, Il). Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report that a car hit the rear, left corner of a semi-trailer truck at the 28 1/4 mile marker.
The crash was on the westbound I-94 Spur, just east of Waukegan Road.
Life-Threatening crash, with one patient in traumatic cardiac arrest. It was not immediately known if there were any other injuries.
Northbrook Battalion Chief 11 reported crews will be committed for awhile.
The westbound I-94 Spur was closed until 9:00 AM.
