Man Found Stabbed to Death in Forest Park Home on Adams St Near Jackson Blvd

Forest Park police responded about 2:00 p.m. Wednesday September 20, 2017 to a report of a man found unresponsive with stab wound in the block of 7700 Adams Street.

The death of the man has been ruled a homicide, following a death investigation at the house. The crime scene was located west of Harlem Avenue, and just north of I-290

Police report that Ivens Soto, age 25, of Chicago was found dead in a home in the block of 7700 Adams Street.

The Cook County Medical Examiner determined the cause of death as multiple stab wounds. The death was a homicide.

Police said on initial investigation the incident appears to be random. Police are questioning at least one person.
