Bad Craigslist Meeting: Victim Buys Fake Chicago Bears Tickets at Meeting at Subway on West Campbell St, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 8:53 PM Thursday September 14, 2017 of a theft at 1615 West Campbell Street Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender arranged to meet the victim after a Craigslist arrangement.

The unknown offender was offering to sell tickets to the Chicago Bears against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Soldier Field scheduled on Sunday September 24, 2017.

The offender sold four tickets to the victim for $480.00. After the sale, the victim learned the tickets were fake. The offender was described as a male/black, approximately 6’0″ with a bulky build.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 08:52 PM.
