Dempster Street and Potter Road Des Plaines, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a crash with injuries on westbound Dempster Street east of Potter Road.
A witness in the area reported a motorcycle down at the crash scene, and a car with front end damage.
The crash was apparently in Des Plaines jurisdiction, but Park Ridge firefighter/paramedics were initially dispatched to the crash near Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.
Dempster Street was closed for an extended accident investigation between Western Avenue and Potter Road well past midnight Wednesday/Thursday.
Dempster Street was re-opened by morning rush hour.
