Lake Zurich police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 2:42 AM Saturday to a report of a house fire at 1181 Centoni Dr Lake Zurich, Il. Police and firefighter/paramedics received a report of a fire in a basement and a bathroom.

Police reported all occupants out of the house by 2:48 a.m.
A fire crew on arrival reported heavy smoke showing by 2:50 a.m.
As firefighters responded, they received a report that the basement fire that was “fully engulfed”.
Engine 322’s crew reorted a fire in a home with a walkout basement with access to the basement fire and an open garage by 3:01 a.m.
A second line was brought to the front door by 2:57 a.m. but firefighters were told to standby before fighting the fire interior from the front door.
Battalion Chief 32 reported by 2:54 a.m. that a basement fire that had commuted to the first floor with heavy fire showing from the first floor windows at the front of a 2-story wood frame.
Fire command reported water on the fire by 2:54 a.m.
An extra alarm MABAS Box alarm was requested just before 3:18 a.m. MABAS Division 4 Box Alarm on Box #32-A1 for a house fire was activated at 3:18 a.m.
Command reported the fire was under control with all companies working, and a primary search underway by 3:38 a.m.
The primary search was complete and all clear, with crews working on a secondary search and beginning overhaul by 3:41 a.m. All companies were reported working.
