FBI, Schaumburg Police Conduct Prostitution Operation at Schaumburg Hotels Resulting in 3 Arrests for Human Trafficking

On Thursday, January 26, 2017, the Schaumburg Police Department Special Operations Tactical Unit with the assistance of the FBI conducted a prostitution operation. Three undercover operations were conducted which resulted in three arrests and one person being connected with victim advocate services for human trafficking.

Undercover Schaumburg Tactical Officers, Schaumburg Detectives and FBI agents coordinated a prostitution operation at area hotels. The operation was organized through the use of online resources and the cooperation of hotel management. The one day operation led to the arrest of two females for Solicitation of a Sexual Act. During the course of a third investigation, a female was believed to be a victim of human trafficking. Victim Advocate services were provided to the
female and she was not charged.

Schaumburg Tactical Units continued their investigation of the possible human trafficking which resulted in identifying and arresting a male subject within several days. On February 04, 2017,
Phillip Puccio, was charged with the following: 1 count -Involuntary Servitude (Class X), 1 count-Involuntary servitude (Class 1), 1 count-Possession of Controlled Substance.

The two females arrested, identified as, Lanesha Todorovich and Laquesta Rice were both released on bond following their arrest. Both Rodorovich and Rice have a scheduled court date on February 23, 2017, at 1:30pm, Rolling Meadows Court House, Room 108. Puccio was taken to bond court and issued a $500,000.00 bond. Puccio is scheduled for a court hearing on February 07, 2017, at 1:30pm, Cook County Rolling Meadows Courthouse, Room 108.
