Apartment Break-in with $3,000 Damage on Seegers Rd Near Goebbert Rd, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police responded Saturday to a report of residential burglary and criminal damage to property in the block of 300 East Seegers Road. Police received a report that a resident was hearing noise and seeing three suspects near the unit, which was a vacant apartment unit.

When a maintenance worker entered the apartment, the worker discovered the unit had been vandalized, with extensive damage to the kitchen, bedroom walls, floor, hallways, doors, closets and a window screen. The damage was estimated at more than $3,000 in damage.

Now police are searching for three men suspected of breaking into a vacant apartment on Saturday, January 7, 2017 between 3:15 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The only physical description available was that one of the male suspects was described as being about 6’1″.
