According to multiple sources, Star Cinema Grill, 53 South Evergreen Avenue in downtown Arlington Heights, was acquired by Paragon Theaters in July 2016. While there appears to be no rush to change the name, the downtown theater will still have big reclining lounge seats and a restaurant and bar for dining while watching movies.
According to Paragon’s official website, the Arlington Heights theater location is scheduled for renovation.
Paragon has three locations in Florida, one location in Maryland, two locations in Minnesota, and two locations in Virginia.
The StarCinemaGrill.net website is still in operation, but there is also Arlington Heights theater information on the paragontheaters.com website. Tickets can still be ordered on the StarCinemaGrill.net website.
