Mount Prospect police and firefighter/paramedics responded about 11:40 PM Thursday to a report of a stabbing in the block of 100 North Prospect Manor Mount Prospect, IL. Police received a report that a young adult female was stabbed. Police and firefighter/paramedics also received a report that the offender was not on scene.

Police have alternate ways to transmit tactical, operational or investigative information, while still keeping their main public dispatch channels open for the best balance of public safety and police safety.
