Criminal Damage: Tires Slashed on VW Passat on South Chatham Pl Near Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 5:01 PM Sunday of criminal damage to vehicle in the block of 400 South Chatham Place Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender or offenders criminally damaged the tires on the victim’s 2006 silver VW Passat.

The cost to repair one tire was estimated at $150.

The crime is reported to have occurred on Sunday, April 3, 2016 between 12:01 AM and 5:00 PM. The elapsed time range including the time the crime could have occurred is 16:59 (hours: minutes).

Recently graffiti was reported nearby in the neighborhood. A stop sign and park bench were tagged with symbols in blue spray paint.
