Suspicious: Man Gets Out of Van and Asks Female If She Wants a Ride at Elm St and Vail Ave, Arlington Heights

Arlington Heights police received a report about 12:40 PM Thursday of a suspicious incident at Elm Street and Vail Avenue Arlington Heights, IL. Police received a report that an unknown offender subject stopped his vehicle by a female, exited his vehicle and asked the female victim if she wanted a ride. The female victim ran to Olympic Swim Center a little over one-half mile away.

The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 40-50 years old, 5’10, slightly overweight, black hair in tight curls. The man is reported to have spoken English without an accent. The vehicle associated with the subject is described as a white van.

Arlington Heights Police Department did not report the age of the victim reporting the suspicious incident. The police department did not described the incident as attempted child luring.

The incident is reported to have occurred on Thursday March 17, 2016 at 12:34 p.m.
