EgyptAir Flying from Alexandria to Cairo Hijacked; Landed at Larnaca Airport, Cyprus

An aircraft scheduled to fly from Alexandria to Cairo was hijacked early Tuesday. The aircraft, of EgyptAir flight #MS181, has landed at Larnaca International Airport, Cyprus.

The Aircraft is an Airbus A320 with 55 passengers on board.

The aircraft is reported to have been hijacked by at least one armed hijacker, and early in the incident there is suspicion that there is a bomb on board.
