Surveillance video captured the life-saving moment a plane fell from the sky and landed with a father and daughter inside on Long Island.

A Cirrus SR22 small private plane had engine failure during a father-daughter excursion, but the small plane Louis Obergh was piloting with his daughter at 2,000 feet, parachuted to safety on Saturday at about 3:00 p.m.

The aircraft crashed safely on a grassy area in an industrial park in Hauppauge, Long Island — eight miles east of Republic Airport.
